Studio Colors Form 02 takes a familiar silhouette — the tall gooseneck — and finishes it in deep lacquer red. The geometry is recognisable, almost classical. The colour is the moment.

The body is finished in a high-gloss baked enamel red that catches light along the curve, while the lever and base are accented in polished chrome. The contrast is deliberate. Red holds the eye, chrome anchors it. Together they make a fixture that doesn't look like anything else in the bathroom — or anyone else's bathroom.

01 — The Form

Classic silhouette, considered colour.

The gooseneck is one of the most enduring forms in faucet design — a tall slim column, a graceful upward arc, a clean tapered outlet. Borrowed from European apothecary fixtures and brought into the modern bathroom. Form 02 honours that lineage but reframes it through colour.

The red is intentional. It is not bright fire-engine primary. It is a deep lacquer red with subtle warmth — closer to the lacquered red of vintage Italian design, mid-century kitchen appliances, or considered Japanese architectural details. Against white basins, natural stone, dark wood, or neutral palettes, it reads as confident rather than loud.

02 — The Function

• Clean stream flow. A tuned aerator delivers a smooth aerated column of water — gentle on the hands, quiet in the basin.
• Polished chrome lever. Hot, cold, and pressure managed with one slim handle, finished in chrome as a deliberate contrast to the red body.
• Tall arc clearance. Generous spout height accommodates vessel sinks, deep basins, and any installation that needs vertical reach.
• Ceramic disc cartridge. Engineered for half a million open and close cycles without drip or play in the handle.

The lacquer red finish is built through a multi-layer baked enamel process — applied, cured at high temperature, sealed, and inspected for tonal consistency. How to live with it.

Care. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth after use to maintain the depth of the lacquer finish. For mineral deposits or soap residue, use a mild soap solution and dry with a microfiber. Avoid bleach, abrasive scrubbers, acidic cleaners, or scouring pads — the enamel is durable but is best cared for like fine lacquerware. The chrome accents can be wiped dry with the same cloth to maintain mirror clarity.

Installation. Designed for standard single-hole bathroom basins with under-counter access. The taller silhouette pairs particularly well with vessel sinks. Most installations take 25 to 40 minutes with basic tools. The guide is written for someone doing this for the first time — but professional installation is always an option.
