Studio Colors is a new collection from Origin Curio — a curated capsule of fixtures finished in deliberate, considered colour. Where the Origin Series is built in restrained neutrals and the Arc Series in sculptural metal, Studio Colors steps further. Each piece is a confident colour statement designed for interiors with a strong point of view.
Form 01 opens the collection in soft yellow. A sculpted basin mixer with an organic, almost figurative silhouette — finished in a deep muted yellow that reads warmer than primary and quieter than vibrant. Designed for the bathroom where one bold choice makes the rest of the room feel intentional.

01 — The Form
A sculpted silhouette.
The body of Form 01 is shaped to feel almost figurative — a slim cylindrical column at the base flares gently upward, leans forward into the spout, and finishes in a small angular tip. The geometry is closer to a piece of considered ceramic or modern sculpture than a typical fixture.
The form itself is neutral. The colour is what speaks. Designed so future Studio Colors releases can carry the same silhouette in different tones — sage, dusty pink, navy, terracotta — building a curated capsule over time.
02 — The Colour
Soft yellow, considered.
The colour is intentional. It is not vibrant primary yellow. It is muted, slightly warm, and reads as confident rather than loud — closer to a Pantone design tone than a paint chip. The reference points were the soft yellows of mid-century Italian ceramics, Bauhaus colour theory, and the curated palettes of European design houses.
Against deep blues, dark woods, terrazzo, navy tile, brass mirrors, or warm whites, the colour finds its register. Best paired with bathrooms that have already committed to a strong palette — Studio Colors is not for the undecided.
03 — The Function
Considered, not complicated.
- Clean stream flow. A tuned aerator delivers a smooth aerated column of water — gentle on the hands, quiet in the basin.
- Top-mounted single lever. Hot, cold, and pressure managed with a clean integrated handle at the top of the body.
- Single-hole deck mount. Designed for standard bathroom basins. Clean installation, no exposed plumbing.
- Ceramic disc cartridge. Engineered for half a million open and close cycles without drip or play in the handle.
04 — The Material
Solid brass. Soft yellow enamel.

The soft yellow finish is built through a multi-layer baked enamel process — applied, cured at high temperature, sealed, and inspected. It will not change, but it does ask for care: a finish that rewards considered cleaning over rough scrubbing.

How to live with it.
Care. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth after use to maintain the clarity of the colour finish. For mineral deposits or soap residue, use a mild soap solution and dry with a microfiber. Avoid bleach, abrasive scrubbers, acidic cleaners, or scouring pads — the enamel is durable but is best cared for like fine ceramic.
Installation. Designed for standard single-hole bathroom basins with under-counter access. Most installations take 25 to 40 minutes with basic tools. The guide is written for someone doing this for the first time — but professional installation is always an option.
